Protective: Increased Rates for Protective Indexed Choice UL

Protective is pleased to inform you that they have increased Protective Indexed Choice UL’s illustrated, cap and loan charge rates so you can better serve your clients.

These rate changes are available with Protective Indexed Choice UL illustrations as of February 13, and will be effective on the following dates:

• The maximum illustrated rate has increased from 5.21% to 5.77% and will be effective on March 15, 2023.
• The loan charge rate has increased from 4.71% to 5.27% effective March 15, 2023, for new loans and effective on the next policy anniversary on or after March 15, 2023, for existing loans.
• The cap rate has increased from 8.00% to 9.00% and is in effect as of the next segment start date on or after March 15, 2023.
