Medical Mutual Discontinuation of Medicare Advantage New Member Assessment and Loyalty Program Incen


Per guidance issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in the 2025 Final Rule on April 23, 2024, Medical Mutual will discontinue the $100 incentive payment for the completion of the Medicare Advantage New Member Assessment on Sept. 2, 2024. All New Member Assessments submitted and verified on or before Sept. 1, 2024, will be considered for incentive payment on Sept. 15, 2024. Any assessments that cannot be verified (e.g., mismatched Medicare numbers) will be forfeited. To submit a New Member Assessment, you must complete the application online. The option to complete the Assessment will appear upon submission of the application. The option to submit the Assessment will be discontinued after Sept. 2, 2024.

Medical Mutual will also discontinue the Broker Loyalty marketing payouts effective Sept.1, 2024. They will make a final payout on Sept. 15, 2024, based on a snapshot of your book of business and net growth on Sept. 1, 2024. In addition, if you qualified to receive your 2025 AHIP training through Medical Mutual’s Broker Loyalty program or our recent sales promotion contest, you must complete your training no later than Sept. 30, 2024. After this date, access to the free or reduced training will be discontinued.
