Schedule 

Flexible Full-Time hours and no weekends, working out of the corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio. Hybrid schedule in the future as candidate is fully trained.  

Role Summary 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with advisors looking for insurance-based solutions for their clientele.  This includes working autonomously and in conjunction with the sales team to analyze, design and implement solutions for BUA customers and channel partners.  Finally, the qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting policy reviews and reporting results.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities 

  • Evaluate current coverage, benefits and pricing 
  • Identify opportunities to improve client coverage / cost efficiencies 
  • Stay informed on enhancements to product lines and carrier updates  
  • Assists in the education, coordination, and implementation of any policy enhancements and/or changes, company procedures, etc. 
  • Prepare illustrations for client presentations 
  • Develop relationships with existing brokers and respond to inquiries 
  • Communicate recommendations, both written and verbally, to interested parties 

The Ideal Candidate 

  • College Degree 
  • Experience in the Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Services industries 
  • Life & Health Insurance License – Will be required within the first year 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook 
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Accuracy and a keen eye for detail is essential 
  • Good problem-solving skills with a practical and methodical approach 
  • Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, so you should be an effective collaborator 
  • Initiative and the ability to prioritize varied and important tasks 
  • Comfortable presenting using Zoom, Teams, or in person meetings 

Advancement 

  • The successful Employee will transition to a Brokerage Sales Manager
