Brokerage Sales Consultant

Description:

The Sales Consultant will partner with other Sales Consultants and Internal Wholesalers to directly impact the sales efforts. The effective candidate will make proactive sales calls (both in person and on the phone), respond to inbound sales related calls, identify sales opportunities, execute marketing activities, provide product information, and maintain system records pertaining to interactions and data on current and proposed sales activities. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute tasks in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing additional business without our current customer-base for very specific products/carriers
  • Recruiting new customers
  • Working with the Case Design Team to design cases to fit client's needs
  • Develop knowledge of insurance carriers and their products
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Life & Health Insurance License a plus - will be required immediately upon hire if the candidate does not currently have a license
Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail ensuring speed and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proven computer skills including working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
