Our only business is supplying you with marketable and competitive products insured by reputable carriers. BUA writes no business direct and does not compete against you in the marketplace.

Jack Wright, Sr. - Chairman Jack Sr. is a graduate of the University of Akron. He founded the business in 1979. His tireless devotion to BUA’s basic marketing philosophy of product, service, and compensation has kept the company from straying from its winning formula. He’d love to hear from you with questions, comments or ideas how we all can help our clients and make money together.
Jack Wright, Jr. - President Jack is a graduate of the University of Akron. He began his career at BUA in 1991, with an eye toward growing the life sales area. Through hard work and determination the life department at BUA has become one of the premier brokerage agencies in the country. His philosophy for BUA’s role in the insurance marketplace is simple-”Make Brokerage Better!”
Jim LaFleur- Vice President Jim is a graduate of Kent State University. He began his career at BUA in 1996, focusing on the group health insurance sales and service. Today he is responsible for overseeing all health, annuity, long term care and disability operations at BUA. Focusing on client friendly products, Jim’s goal is to help you take your sales to the next level.
Jessica Thomas- New Business Supervisor Jessica began her career at BUA in 1999 as a marketing assistant. Today she is responsible for overseeing all of the New Business Representatives at BUA. Jessica is highly qualified, and is primarily responsible for the great working relationship we enjoy with all of our carriers.
Dawn Wood- Business Manager A graduate of the University of Akron, Dawn started at BUA as an Internal Wholesaler in January of 2007. Quickly adapting to the insurance industry, she was promoted to BUA Business Manager. Today she is responsible for overseeing the Life Internal Wholesalers, and commission accounting at BUA.
Harvey Alter- Eastern Regional Marketing Director With more than 30 years of industry experience Harvey is uniquely qualified to assist you with your sales efforts.
