Lincoln Benefit Life Discontinues Selected Fixed Annuities

Lincoln Benefit Life and Allstate are working to deliver products and services that help meet the protection and retirement needs of your customers. As part of this initiative, we will be refining our product line-up and selling only the products that make sound business sense. One of the first steps is to discontinue products that have had low-volume sales.

Lincoln Benefit Life will be discontinuing the following products effective March 31, 2009:

• Allstate Treasury-Linked Annuity II
• Initiator
• SureHorizon Choice

We will continue to accept applications that are signed on or before March 31, 2009 and received in the home office in good order by April 10, 2009.
