Adding the Underwriter to Business Underwriters Associates

Please welcome our newest employee, our own in-house Underwriter. Kate Roark has 15 years of home office underwriting experience. She's worked for Prudential, Allstate, Zurich Kemper, Banner and West Coast Life. She is currently the Vice President of the Georgia Association of Home Office Underwriters. She recently won the local club scholarship award from the Association of Home Office Underwriters. She's involved with the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies as a member of its charitable foundation and professional development committees.

Her experience will help BUA make sure your clients are getting the right coverage offer, from the right carrier, the first time. Kate will assist with case shopping, file building and underwriting presentations. With her knowledge of life insurance, Kate, will be able to tell the underwriters why they should take your case, and will know how to help them get the best possible rating.
