IHC Changes to Child-Only Coverage Effective September 1, 2010

IHC Health Solutions (formerly IAC – Insurer’s Administrative Corp.) will no longer issue child-only individual major medical coverage for applicants requesting an effective date of September 1, 2010 or later. Coverage for children age 19 or younger must include a parent insured on the same certificate.
Currently, child-only applications will continue to be accepted on our short-term medical plans. The Secure series of temporary medical plans from The IHC Group are well suited for children and young adults and provide four plan options for those in need of short-term insurance.
