Mutual of Omaha’s LTCI policies contain a built-in cash benefit with no elimination period. You won’t find that from any other carrier.

The cash benefit option makes cash available each month to use for any type of care the insured chooses. Depending on the policy, the cash benefit pays between 30 and 5o percent of the home health care maximum monthly benefit. And policyholders always have the flexibility to switch to traditional reimbursement benefits at any time as the need for care increases. (The policies elimination period applies for reimbursement benefits.)
