Exciting News From Companion Life Underwriting:

Companion Life is getting aggressive, and wants your business. To help you write more this year, Companion has introduced these three programs:
1. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED regarding Companion Life's new LTD RATE MATCHING program!!!
2. Underwriting will be providing an additional 10% discount on True Group Life and STD. For example, if the underwriter would have typically reduced a life quote by 20%, they will now provide a 30% discount.
3. For all non-experience rated true group cases, in which both the current and renewal rates have been provided, the underwriter will try to justify matching or beating the renewal rates for Life / STD / Dental. If the underwriter cannot justify such an action, they will then conference with Harvey Myer (Companion’s head underwriter) for a final consideration. If the rate still cannot be lowered, then the action will be justified to the producer.
Please note that the more complete the RFP data you submit is, the more likely that you will receive the rates you need to move the case to Companion!
