Two Indexed Crediting Account Options Suspended

In keeping with West Coast Life Insurance Company's disciplined approach to pricing changes will be implemented to the Index Advantage ll annuity.
Effective Friday February 13, 2009, West Coast Life will suspend the offering of the Fixed Rate Plus and Participation Rate strategies from the Indexed Account in the Indexed Advantage ll annuity until further notice. This change applies to new business only and will not affect existing contracts.
The Index Advantage ll will continue to offer the Interest Rate Cap strategy in the Indexed Account, as well as the Fixed Account option.
