Conversations that Make a Difference

BUA is excited to launch a new far reaching marketing campaign, "Let's Talk - Conversations That Make a Difference." This comprehensive campaign is designed to help financial professionals guide their clients through sensitive conversations about potential long term care needs and solutions with their loved ones.

BUA in association with Genworth worked with Virginia Morris, the award-winning author of the bestselling book, How to Care for Aging Parents, and a frequent speaker on topics related to caregiving and family preparation for long term care. Acting as Genworth’s expert contributor for this campaign, Ms. Morris brings more than 25 years of researching and writing about health care, medical research, and related social and political issues. In her collaboration with Genworth on "Let's Talk", Ms. Morris sets an optimistic yet realistic tone.

This launch includes a robust public relations campaign, online advertising, and breakthrough producer and consumer marketing materials that includes:

The Tabloid-Style Magazine for Consumers (Form 48683). The consumer centerpiece of "Let's Talk" is a colorful and informative magazine that was written to encourage your clients and prospects to have candid conversations with their families about planning for a long life, and to help guide them through the process. This is a great piece to have in the office reception area, or in a local doctor's or CPA's office.

The Producer Brochure (Form 48684). This piece educates Producers on how they can help clients and prospects talk candidly with their families about long term care. It includes key content such as how Producers and clients/prospects can benefit from "Let's Talk," the top 5 reasons why people avoid the conversation and tips on how to get the clients engaged in the conversation.

How To Talk With Your Parents Brochure (Form 48685). This brochure is first in a series that will address specific aspects of having the conversation with parents and other family members.

In addition, the Web site, genworth.com/lets-talk, provides additional resources to help people start the conversation with their loved ones and have an easier and more productive interaction.

For your convenience, we have attached all of these documents in the right hand column of this page. Included is the, Let's Talk: How To Use The Tools, which includes more information on what the pieces include and suggestions for how they can help you increase sales.

We are proud to provide you with this strong, broad-reaching campaign with a positive message and helpful tools that you can take to your Producers.
