Anthem Improved COBRA Reporting Process Ready to Go

Due to feedback from employers, Anthem has improved their COBRA reporting. Previously, some of our groups have told us that they're not getting enough information about the reimbursement checks they receive. In order to address this issue, they have made changes to improve the way they process and report COBRA checks.

During the improvement process stage, which began in February 2010, they did not mail any COBRA reports or reimbursement checks to employers. Beginning July 15th,employers will begin to receive COBRA reports and checks again. In most cases, employers will receive reimbursement checks. In some cases, though, employers will receive reports showing that they owe Anthem money.
